Whether you are a technical story teller, or someone who summarizes a hands on experience, chances are we would like to hear from you. This industry is so broad, from the laborer trying to make sense of how to work on a muddy site with absolutely no room to move, the equipment operator/truck driver, who does his daily dance around people and other machines without hitting anyone, the endless procession of steel workers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other tradesmen who all show up to fulfill the masterfully created symphony, designed by the architects and conducted by the GC’s. What an orchestra. So many experiences and stories to tell.
Why then are there so few articles submitted to our WCCSI Newsletter? I encourage you to challenge yourself and step outside of the box to share with us a day in the life of “you”, “your product”, or anything we might find interesting as it pertains to our industry. Not only will we enjoy it, but we all might learn a little bit more than what we think we already know.
One of Warren Buffett’s suggestions to becoming a successful person is to learn something new. Read. Well, we can’t read if you don’t write. So sit back, dig into your memory of great stories and/or technical skills, and take 10 mins to write a paragraph or 2. Then submit it to Terri Bracken for review. neregcsi@gmail.com
Because we all know, there are only so many Ready Mix Concrete stories I can tell.
