We are pleased to welcome Robert Guttmann to the Board. Robert has been elected as our new Director starting in July. As a member, Robert has shown great initiative through participation in our Young Professionals night out, our August planning sessions, and most recently as the lead behind our upcoming building envelope program.
Here is his bio:
Robert Gutmann is an Assistant Project Manager in the Building Envelope Sciences department at Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects, Inc. in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and Master of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Over his career, Robert has worked on variety of projects ranging from residential condominium projects to public educational and civic facilities. At GRLA, Robert has worked on building envelope assessment studies for towns and institutions along with performing exploratory assessments on buildings. When needed, Robert aids in testing of fenestrations such as windows and storefronts along with low slope roof systems. Always the enthusiast for design and building, Robert loves woodworking and cooking. He makes the most of his time outdoors with hiking, biking, camping, and kayaking.
