    FY20 Planning/Brainstorming Meeting

    By mike | September 2019 Newsletter | Comments are Closed | 21 September, 2019 | 0

On Tuesday, August 6th our CSI Worcester Chapter Board of Directors had its annual planning/”brainstorming” meeting for the coming fiscal year. The meeting, which took place at Broken Creek Vineyards in Shrewsbury, generated a list of potential programs for the future along with valuable feedback on what we’re doing right and what we could do differently. We had a good turnout of both CSI members and their guests. There are a lot of exciting events planned for the upcoming year!

As for the venue itself, Broken Creek Vineyard is a gem of a find in Central Mass. It is a 40-acre vineyard and winery that has been family owned and operated by Eric and Peggy Preusse since 2015. What sets them apart from their competition is that they have created a fun and unique environment locally to sample and purchase good local wines while enjoying a peaceful, serene vineyard setting. They produce most of their wines from grapes and fruits on their own property.

The one great aspect of this place is that it is affordable, and you can bring in your own food and enjoy an intimate setting for a meeting or get together. Of course, the wine tasting part of the night was wonderful with gracious hosts, and you leave with a great souvenir of a wine glass from the vineyard! Overall, Broken Creek Vineyard was a great place for our meeting.

Broken Creek Vineyard (www.brokencreekvineyard.com) is located at 614 South Street in Shrewsbury, MA. They can be reached by phone (508-925-5617) or email (ericpreusse@brokencreekvineyards.com). Hours may vary so please call or check the website.
