Golf Tournament

The Construction Industry Summer Open is a charity golf tournament run by the Worcester Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and a day of fun and camaraderie for all. CSI has a unique mission: to continuously improve the Process of Creating and Sustaining the Built Environment. This goal is achieved by facilitating communication among all those involved in that process and CSI’s 13,000 members who represent all the disciplines engaged in the non-residential building design and construction industry. The Worcester County Chapter of CSI, chartered in 1968, awards annual scholarships honoring Michael G. Lapomardo, Sr., a charter member who served the local chapter as Treasurer for 27 years. For the past 16 years, the Worcester County CSI and Michael G. Lapomardo Scholarship fund have been proud to be able to offer annual scholarships to deserving students. The CISO is the sole funding mechanism for these scholarships and is made possible by the support of people like you.

There will be a hole-in-one prize on every par three as well as other skill prizes. In short, the WCCSI will stop at nothing to make your participation in the summer CISO golf tournament a memorable event. Past players registering before July 8 will be given preference as the number of teams is limited. Slots for new players will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please commit as soon as you can.

The event offers an opportunity to network and meet potential business contacts who can make use of your services. Won’t you consider a sponsorship? Not only will it benefit your business, but it will ensure the continued success of the Michael G. Lapomardo scholarship fund. Sponsorships at all levels are available.
