      • Reviewed and approved Minutes from the November Board Meeting: 

     

    • Treasurer’s Report:
    • Mike will line up our financial advisor for review at out Jan/Feb board meeting
    • Treasurer’s report accepted.
    • Upcoming programs

     

      • Dec 16 – Holiday Party. (Friday) Mike L.
        • Nault Architects, Antonelli Construction and MarinoWare are sponsoring.
      • Jan 17 – “Where’s Waldo” Code Review may need to be altered.
        • Mike will confirm venue arrangements with Grill on the Hill 
        • Board members to get Steve content by Friday ore we will move ahead with an alternate program.
      • Feb 28 – Firestopping Technology Update. Roger
        • WPI Burn Laboratory and café are booked
      • Mar 21 – Carbon Neutral Worcester – Peter
    • Review of City policy to becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
    • Apr 18 – Recycling in Construction Materials – Harry
    • Panel of manufacturers to discuss what is currently being done producing construction materials as well as challenges/opportunities to reduce waste.
    • May 16 – Doherty High School Construction Tour. Peter
    • Currently under construction. Occupation slated for the Fall 24.
    • June – Baseball Outing. Exploring WooSox game at Polar Park.
      • Mike Sheehan has been researching options.
      • Potential for box at Polar Park or semi-private group space.
    • July 28th – Golf Tournament. 
      • Looking for ideas to celebrate 25th anniversary
    • August- Planning Session
      • Steve suggested Stone Cow Brewery in Barre
    • September
      • Steve advised that he will not be able to do the Scavenger Hunt in 2023

     

    • Awards

     

        • Board voted to pursue NE Region Distinguished Service Award for Neil Dixon and CSI Fellowship for Marty Helly

     

    • Membership Report: 

     

        • Harry advised that he cannot access website; he needs password

     

    • Newsletter:  Schedule and content.

     

        • Steve will submit flyer for January program

     

    • Other News

     

      • Steve asked for any nominees for Region President and Secretary- no takers
    • Marty shared (via email) consideration of Sheehan Phinney for the legal services for the Affiliation Agreement/By-laws issues. We’ll see how much of this effort the region is willing to pick up on behalf of the chapters at the Region Board’s Winter Meeting in January.
